Why do we remember some moments and forget others?
When to Ask?:
When an old photo appears, a family story comes up, or your child remembers something surprising.
How to Ask?:
“Isn’t it strange that some things stay in our minds and others disappear? Why do you think that happens?”
Keep in Mind:
Let the child choose any memory, big or tiny. Do not judge whether it seems important enough.
